I am thinking of buying an HP Velotech Streetmachine. Does anyone have any experience of these?

Welcome buddy had the streetmachine GTE which had under seat steering,loved it but a bit to heavy for me. Nice comfy ride and handled well.

I have had an Optima DIngo and then a Streetmachine ; both virtually identical geometry both heavyish but ok once you get them rolling. I now commute daily on overseat steering Streetmachine with 2 heavy panniers on back/ 50+ miles a week. Its pretty bombproof; comfy seat; front suspension is good for comfort as well and rear suspension as well. Avid 7 bb disk brakes very effective. its good for what I want ; not for speed. The overseat steering makes it ok to wriggle through London rush hour traffic which is what I do. Underseat steering is good for long distance I am told.

No experience but I believe the seat height means that it can be tricky if you are less than average height.
