im so happy to have found this website. Apart from my love of cycling I inherited a Holdsworth Mistral (in parts) from my father and hoping to get some assistance regarding its value. I’ve now built it to original specs. I found a thread from Dave Scrimshaw regarding the frame numbers and would like to add to any list he is creating. I’m assuming it is in the vintage category and my father purchased the frame and parts in 1979 and had them shipped to Perth, Australia.
So, greetings to you all and eagerly await further information, or just to say Hi.
I was born in Chelmsford, Essex and went to school in Colchester. Migrated to Australia in 1972.

Cheers

Bien venidos to the friendliest forum I've found. Lots of lovely Holdsworths in the classic and vintage section. I have to say, mine is one of the most comfortable bikes I've ever ridden. Not the lightest, but miles seem to melt away .

Hi, currently a resident close to Chelmsford. Planning to be in Aus (possibly landing in Perth) late July or early August.

Started young, and still going.
:welcome:to the forum. I was out your way last year, good cycling along the Swan and Canning rivers.

Hi and :welcome:

I own a Holdsworth Record which I bought new in 70/71. My brother has a Monsoon. They are both nice bikes.

Hello and welcome (and nice bike!). I'm a Londoner who spends most of his time in Perth these days. IMHO a great place for cycling .
