Been reading the blog and have so say i'm impressed with your efforts boab Well done and good luck for the rest of the ride. The Chester to Slaidburn section is my part of the world and the forest you went through is called Delamere forest and the small town you stopped at is called Lymm.
Well done and keep blogging! I am hoping to do lejog next year so i'm taking in all the tips

Lymm is where the lock refused to let the bikes free from the lamp post ha ha!
