Inspired by the sunshine..at last, the Olympics and the wifes constant nagging about ny manly figure I've decided its time to get back on the bike - its been 15 years plus so will probably start by walking the bike!! Anyway I have a bike, a very old bike, made of concrete I think, so I need to upgrade - what does anyone recommend, budget of around £200 - not much I know but heh ho times are hard!! What about these fixed or single gear bikes - any use? I saw this one here which is right on budget, and reviews I have read seem to suggest Viking is not a bad make - thoughts. I used to like using the gears and single speed seems like a backward step?

Speedy Jim go 2nd hand and save some money , try single or fixed before buying as great fun if you enjoy it and could be bad if you dont .
