At the very least, a 'grey' 50 tooth ring
My cranks are okay, but 2 of the internal threads on the 50 tooth ring, have stripped/very close to doing so
I guess a 'stopgap' is threadlock?

Which version of Tiagra - 10 speed 4600/4700 version or 9 speed 4500 version?

There is also Shimano 105 5700 if you fancied an upgrade.

What isn’t compatible is the new Cues range as it doesn’t use hyper glide but uses link glide.
