Gritters Been Out This Morning

All the main roads/bus routes had been gritted earlier as the temperature dropped to -2.2.
Many roads were damp and would have been icy without the grit.
Side/minor roads icy but I put the Marathon Winters back on, although probably not needed now as the Sun is out and the temperature is rising.

We've had the gritters out the last two nights, cycled home around 12.30am this morning and it was pretty cold, would say about -1 in temp atleast

I bought a cheap EBay wireless garden max/min thermometer a few years ago, I know the outside temperature before leaving the house. This morning seeing it display -2.2 meant going to the garage at 6am and swapping wheels, my hands were frozen after just five minutes.

I read the title as "Grifters" and thought that would have been some sight, must be 20+ years since I saw one of those on the road, I was a little disappointed
