A friend mentioned a group and I actually misheard it, i thought he said The Charlie Daniels Band. When I got home I got my smart speaker to play some.......I was really impressed.
The 1st track was well known, The Devil Went Down To Georgia but the rest were unknown to me.
I thought it was a sort of Jerry Lee Lewis meets Country rock.
I have always been a Jerry Lee Lewis fan and enjoy some (not all) country stuff.
I will certainly play some more.

It wasn't recently, but during Covid when I really got (back) into music, I came across Frank Turner, initially through one specific track (Rivers), assuming at first he was a new artist, only to eventually find out that he'd actually been making music for about 15+ years and had a huge discography for me to get through and from there finding a whole bunch of tracks of his that I loved. And it struck me as weird that in an age where there are all sorts of algorithms for serving you up what you should like, for some reason this guy had not been recommended to me by any of them and had completely skipped me by for so long, despite him being quite similar to other groups and artists whose songs I play regularly.

The algorithms have never suggested Rose Betts to me. Thankfully the BBC. gave her some airtime from Belladrum and I’ve continued listening to all her work.
