Despite what some people online think of me, I rarely get angry. Sure an incident might annoy me for a few minutes but it always passes. Not this one...
This morning I was approaching a T junction and beginning to slow. I was about to turn right onto the larger road. As I approached the junction I noticed a blue skip lorry approaching from the left on the main road. It was going at a fair speed and wasn't indicating.
Imagine then my shock when it started to turn right into my road. Then imagine my horror as it proceeded to fill the space (in my lane) that as I was about to enter (He cut the lane, not just the corner!!). Despite my look of horror, he kept turning and reducing the space left on my lane. In the end he probably turned, at speed within a metre of me, whilst I executed an emergency stop.
He continued on his way, whilst I stopped for a short while catching my breath, shocked and angry at how close I had come to going under his back righ wheel.

As he drove away I did my best to recite his registration number so my microphone would pick it up. I wasn't sure if the camera would have been at the right angle to catch it. Considering the likelyhood of death had I been a metre further along the road, I vowed to call the police with the footage and registration.
Imagine now how angry I felt, when I got to the office and found that the video cable had come out when I placed the recorder in my bag. No footage, no evidence and I can't remember the registration.
I am not a happy bunny this morning.
