generally i'm wary of big vehicles in this situation. Ironically because i failed a driving test for not anticipating the tanker on the main rd needed more space to get round than i allowed. Although it sounds like the guy was just a tosser in this case.

Skip wagon drivers arent typical HGV driver, they are generally Pikey, cash in hand, Tarmac Laying Knuckle Draggers with not MOT, Tax or insurance, usually if the lorry is signwritten you are ok, if its free of any identifyingf features then watch it, they like nothing better than victimising cyclists, the driver drives at you and one of the two shaven headed youths with no shirts on are there to shout insults and throw things.
