The weather has been almost totally dry her in Glasgow for the last few weeks. As I was off last week I decided to put the Ribble in for a service (it's been working hard!).

'Should be ready by the end of the week' the chap at the LBS said.

So I pop in on Saturday, and he hadn't got around to it. Spring rush, apparently....Grumble, grumble....

No worries, as I have me good bike to use instead. I even cleaned and checked it over a couple of weeks ago. So last night I was looking forward to getting back out on it.

So would you believe it! It only went and rained on me! Me good bike, an all! The rain fairy has a lot to answer....grumble, grumble.... bike'll need another clean...grumble, grumble.....

I'm still using a Dogcamsport HQ1 with an Archos 405 recorder that I bought a while back. I'd love to upgrade, but the money just isn't there.

I do like the MUVI as it's light and I hardly notice it's there.

I've got a Muvi (ok a clone) as well.

The contour HD possibly. I'm not sure, I don't like looking as I will just want to buy!

One thing I don't like is the internal batteries though.Like the MUVI last night they just run out.Perhaps I didn't charge it fully as it was new.

Shame really because it was a bit horrendous like something out of mad max and some real classic moments last night.

Possible I can charge it up in my locker at work...just have to remember the 30 min thingy.

The first camera I had was good but too heavy for helmet cam although it took 2xAA batteries.

So,when will we get the 1st hackbike video on here then? The amount of motons you encounter on a weekly basis is incredible.You might have to speed the footage up though so it looks like you're going normal speed

I used to have them on here before.

No really last night was an absolute classice.I had two cars pass me at speed as I came off the Bow Flyover...one on my right and one on my left.

ah, someone cutting out from the sliproad?

I did have a rather nasty incidence of that last year, it must be very easy for the desperado to misjudge just how fast bikes are going coming off the flyover heading East

Last night was manic and it got even worse at Stratford...it was like a free for all.

Annoying about the camera as there was some real classic moments there.
