Surprised you're not grumbling about wind as well, Mags. We've had nothing like a normal winter for wind and rain this year, so the last few days have seemed pretty hard cycling into the wind.

Aye it is a bit windy, but that is just resistance training, and it's great on the way home with a tailwind blowing me up the hills!

Grumble! I'll give you grumble. Monday is normally my ride-all-the-way-home night (26 miles, 600m of up, plenty of South Downs scenery plus the occasional chat with a fellow cyclist). Today is clear skies, little wind and where am I? Driving to Salisbury to tread on eggshells interviewing 'stakeholders' for a deeply troubled IT system rollout.
