Grumpy Old Git

I'm currently injured, and have had to have a week off the bike. As usual I get twitchy when I can't exercise and get the daily 'burn out'.
However, my 11 year old son summed it up nicely.
"Does that mean that dad will get grumpy if he can't ride his bike?"
He only told my wife, probably too scared to tell me in case I shouted at him! Even she expects the worst, and fortunately turns a blind eye to my irregular tourettes outbursts.

Ive been a grumpy old git for the last 10 years, these days everything annoys me, when i watch the "Grumpy old men" on TV i sit there nodding and agreeing with. everything they say.

Not riding my bike would just be something else to moan about, and by god i love a good moan.

Yes, it's true you definately DO get more grumpy the older you get...and more cynical too. I do enjoy it!

Getting older does not make you grumpy as such. It's just that you get to a point where you say what you want, dead straight, and don't bother what anyone else thinks about it! Which sm people see as grumpy, being a git, and (correct on this one) old - or at least older. Quite good fun, all in all..
