Yeah, play it quietly (which I have not, admittedly) and then spring when the time is right!
Me? I'm just in catch - up mode, but I know that there is 6 months left and anything can happen, so even if I have a bad result one week, I know it's not exactly a disaster, annoying as it may be, because the points are always accumulating, especially if you play every week.
