Question!

Given that the quiz has effectively halted, are there any objections to calling the results for the first half of this year as given nearly three weeks ago.

1. Split the year into two halves, taking the start for the second half from when it starts again. Two separate scores.
2. Just wait until the quiz restarts, and pick up where you left off.

There's lactose intolerant people on here, and some who just don't like cheese.

I thought that was a city in Cornwall?

Anyway, as I say, I'd say option 1, but then, that's only because I am so far behind. That said, it is then not fair on others who are nearer the top of the scoreboard.

I also like No Ta Doctor's idea of having both, so there are multiple things we can do.

It wouldn't be fair to do it without asking either. So I asked.
Those nearer the top of the scoreboard would probably rise to the top in the second half as well. Whenever it starts again.

In my case, I merely started too late to be in contention. Also, there is less pressure to do as well, as you know you'll never reach the top anyway. 🤣

Three answers from 18 taking part is a low return though.

Nah, should have been "t'is true though".

And if it's mid August when it restarts, everyone has the same time to get to the top. Therefore there's the same "pressure" on everyone to do as well as they can. Even if its only a three month second half.
