I mean some are actual news items we may have read, the odd quirky one often pops up in my weekly news review magazine, but a lot a very tenuous "educated guess" territory questions.

I keep looking over my shoulder and think I can see @Mad Doug Biker with a snipers rifle, I'm not talking metaphorically either, he comes across as so competitive he would take @steverob and myself out without even blinking.

To be honest, the only reason I do well at this quiz (when I remember to do it that is) compared to the BBC one where I'm mid-table, is because the Grauniad live news feed is one I tend to browse on the train journey to and from work, so as they typically ask questions based on their own stories, I've got a slight advantage.
