...withdraw.

I've spent the week feeling ghastly due to malechavanistpigflu.

I find myself in the garden listening to Samuel Barber on spotify whilst smoking a rather fine Cohiba with a coffee and a '61 armanac. The coffee I paid for with the sweat of my brow but the other items were gifts.

Am I being irredeemably decadent to do this whilst the world seems to go to hell in a hand cart around me?

What guilty pleasures do you indulge in when the day has gone to rat shoot?

Whilst the whisky producers of Scotland continue their sterling work, there shall always be a refuge.

And fine cheeses.

I'll always take my fill of Bush if needs must.

Powers please, or a Middleton if we are celebrating a Grand Slam. (It's a case of irish blood, English heart you see, the surname is Collins) To be fair the Scots do make a passable impersonation of whiskey when they put their minds to it. But if I want peat I'll go to a garden centre....

the lovely Helen just came and finished my Cohiba and declared her small part of the Armanac "rather good" but she is much better bred than yours truly, her "bit of rough".
