Shortbread biscuits and jaffa cakes. To the extent that I only buy them once in a blue moon. When I get them home I am quite capable of eating an entire packet in one sitting.

I used to get Carolonabike jnr to hide them in his room and ration me to one a day but he's left home now, so it's down to my will power  .

20 Rothmans and a bottle of Thunderbird.

Ah! Happy days.

It's a whole 250g packet of wine gums for me now.

You won't stop until I settle for a bag of mung beans, will you?

Actually, mung beans are another pleasure of mine (although not all that guilty) - get the dried ones, soak in water overnight, boil for an hour, then toss in a little olive oil and salt, spread them out on a baking tray and bake them on a low gas mark for an hour. They come out all crunchy. Gorgeous!

Tub of ice-cream in one go, no problem! I had to give up Green & Black's chocolate when it became a bar a day habit. The thing is, I don't feel nearly so guilty after reading this thread!

I regret to inform you that HMG recommends no more than four eggs a week....

Invariably, HMG turns out to be wrong when it comes to supposed ill-effects from eating natural foods.

Boiled egg and soldiers is food of the gods. But I don't feel remotely guilty about it.
