My sister-in-law uses the "whirlpool" method and tried to teach me. Abject failure every time, I'm afraid to say.

top tip, drop the eggs in boiling water for 30 seconds before cracking the shells. forms a "skin" on the white which is just strong enough to hold the egg together when you poach it

Bacon and brie baguettes. (Coz I had one last night and could eat one every day for the rest of my life and never get bored. Fat, yes. But not bored.)
 
Three hand cut slices of Tesco's granary bread liberally buttered, a large chunk of red leicester cheese and two or so fork fulls of Hayward's Sweet Piccalilli all washed down with a pint of Tesco's Fiery Ginger Beer.

Thank goodness tomorrow is shopping day as I have run out of ginger beer and bread.
