I have guitars, my crapness at playing guitars is beyond measure, I have had many guitar lessons.

I should have burnt the money spent on giutars, amps, pedals and lessons it would have saved time in the long run.

I ought to give my guitar another try. I've had it for over a decade and done nothing with it. I took up the ukulele just over a year ago and I'm reasonably competent at that now so it shouldn't be too hard, considering their close similarities.

Gorgeous! With Cooder it's not so much his guitar playing but his musicianship, which spans an immense range of genres.

I remember his score for Paris, Texas in the early 80s and assumed he was long gone. Fortunately not - and I see he's <cough> only a couple of years older than me.
