Enjoyed first series. He is likeable but the prog's are a bit shallow - I find myself wanting more detail.

I know there is a finite amount of time but other prog's seem to pack more info' in.
Agreed, I also seem to remember too many points where they just repeated what they'd just said and an inordinately high temptation for the producers to make everything sound death defying, even straight after Guy had said 'this is in no way death defying' (only in his charming northern way naturally.). :-)

But we'll probably watch it anyway.

looking forward to it too... especially guys stupid question of the week, which usually goes something like...

Guy: So... what 'appens then? You turn this steering wheel thing and that turns the wheels does it?
Bloke: Yeah, that's exactly right.
Guy: Thought so!

And since he made sheets (in 'The Boat That Guy Built') he also knows that Cotton doesn't come from Sheep
