Called the paramedics and they put the blues and twos on. In A&E they said I should take it easy and I should be better by 26 December.

i feel like scrooge,I just have to work through the month make money finish boxing day till nye,not really that religious,and I am not letting the fat man dressed in red take the credit for my lads pressies but they are 13 and 14 now,but I do like the atmosphere in the town and a glass of mulled cider

I caught it many years ago and never fully got over it, I've been having relapses at regular intervals ever since, it will usually rear its ugly head during November and stay with me till sometime in early January.
As others have said Bah Humbug, and roll on the Summer.

This is a Xmas ritual,then when that is over i will just wait for the flash of light and the Rapture as i slowly rise up into the Heavens,as this evil ,sad,corrupt,stinking vile pox ridden world comes to an end.
