Did this this morning to my pal's carbon steerer, using a park Tools cutting guide and a wide-bladed hacksaw with fine teeth. Superb job and easy as pie.
If I knew you had one of those............I would have sent my carbon forks and Eileens to you

I was getting so traumatized watching him attack my poor pride n joy with tools. I've had to go get some vodka n coke now to calm down

I don't have one, but I have a very helpful cyclist neighbour who has all the tools and a huge stock of bits and pieces, as well as plenty of free advice.

Anyway......its is done, the operation went well and the bike is recovering well and responding well to treatment, all being well it may even take its first stroll outside tomorrow to see if it has benefitted from the protruding growth.
