Am i being to picky or just being silly, i have had my vouchers over a week and still cant make a decision on my new bike,is it meant to be this hard picking a new bike? I ordered the full £1000 looking at several bikes but split between a few. i was goin for the cannondale caad 8 but then got told that i couldnt add on to my voucher(bike £1049) so started looking again and found the trek madone 2.1 bang on the £1000 but have just been informed that a shop closer to me than the 1st 1 i could use is taking the halfords c2w vouchers and he will let me add to the vouchers but also sells forme bikes but hadnt got any in till new year and like the look(on paper) of the longcliffe 2(also will save a bit of money) so do i just go and order the trek or spend a bit more on the caad or wait till jan and try the forme??? its all getting to much for me now

what im really looking for is advice on out of the 3 which is best specced, frame and has i have told the wife i wont be buying another bike for a while:thumbsup: will be better for upgradin

Seeing as you'd decided on the CAAD8, now that you're planning to add to the vouchers have you considered the CAAD10?

just being picky wanting 105 and prefer the black:smile: or am i being silly about 105 vs tiagra? 105 shifters just felt bit better.

New Tiagra is 10 speed now so 105 won't give any more gearing.

Tiagra components will be cheaper to replace as well when the time comes, (if that's a consideration).

Also, Shimano are kings of the trickle down effect IMO. In other words, current Tiagra is basically old 105 anyway, so you won't feel any difference between the two.

Always buy the very best frame you can in your budget, and the CAAD frames have long been regarded as the best alu frames in the world.

No you have to say the value and usually a shop (if your scheme allows mutiple shops), i knew i wanted 105 and a well reviewed bike. The choice was pretty easy. It sounds asif you are there ..... Almost ..... Tiagra v 105 isn't a millions miles apart. If you have the budget, get the caad10, if you don't get the caad8.
Both bikes are great

Not sure it's "usually". Occasionally perhaps.

Which highlights one of the issues with the C2W regs. Because there are different rules and interpretations in different schemes, it is very difficult to say "You must do this" or "You can't do that" without reference to the specific scheme documents.
