Well was out for a club run on Sunday, we carried on hammering up the road and looked back to find some of the group had stopped due to a puncture. We pulled up at the side of the road to wait for them. id left one foot "clipped in" and was resting on the handlebars, next thing huge gust of wind took me clean off balance and next thing bang im on the deck lol. Wouldn't of minded but ive chipped my sunglasses :-( still at least it was a stationary fall and not at speed lol. just thought id share my moment lol

Dignity is now out the window, all falls from now on, will be meaningless and accepted as a natural event  .. welcome to the club

Welcome to the club. I managed to have a strap moment at 6:45 ish a while back; there's usually nobody about but of course there was that morning, he thought it was ice and rushed to help me I stupidly said it wasn't  My first with SPDs was when I rolled up to a stop line un clipped on foot but realised I couldn't see the lights and lent back  My first with SPD-SL was when I lazily didnt unclip as it was a turn into a really short dead end (for traffic) road which leads almost immediately onto a cyclepath, something had parked in there and was just pulling off

Must have been something in the air this w/end as although not technically clipless three of our members managed to get their feet tangled up with their saddles myself included!

I actually managed a clipless moment without actually being clipped in at the time as my pedals were shod with toe clips/straps and were extremely loose!

The funniest one was a guy at the L2S last year he managed a clipless just at the lights about 300 yards from the finish. There were however about 20 other cyclists around him at the time and we managed to catch him on the way down!

More or less everyone's done it but it doesn't stop that red face feeling when you scramble up from the floor.

As long as no one gets hurt then they are quite funny moments
