I have noted an increasing number of people posting about their hair.

It occurs in helmet debates, debates about creaks and others.

Lets sort this for once and for all....

PS ...the discrimination was simply to get your attention!

Read that as 'cracks' and was going to lament my excessively long hair getting caught in my crack .. but it didn't say that so I wont.

Oh and I have excessively long hair that gets a brush put through it if a) I have time and b) if I remember.

Monthly No 2 as (in order of importance)

a) DIY saves £10 a month hairdressing cost.
b) Cool in summer
c) Low maintenance
d) Lessens the grey look

I have slowly developed the extinguished distinguished look of a middle-aged gentleman. My former luxuriant dark hair now has what my sister calls 'salt and pepper' colouring i.e. what isn't already grey has been given a stark warning of what is to come! Similarly, the odd patch of hirsute scalp nestles uncomfortably close to dangerously sparse patches or even deserts of actual baldness.

I have to face facts ... I passed my prime some time ago, without even noticing that it had arrived! The only thing that can save me now is that curious 'thing' that some women have for older men, me being too immature to make sensible conversation with women of my own age!

Bic razor once a week... I've shaved my head like this since an unfortunate incident where I trusted my sister to trim my flowing locks when I was 12. I am now 44 and haven't grown it back since lol

I am blessed with a very full head of hair. Having spent years in the RAF then in positions that meant it would have been wrong to have long hair I waited until a few years ago to just let it grow. I am one of those 'more mature' chaps with a pony tail.

I have to use a gel on it as my hair goes into tight curls as seen in this photo taken in 1984 when I used to teach electronics in Saudi Arabia. I'm the one at the back if you couldn't guess:

The apartments we were in had just been raided by every kind of Police force that Saudi have. The 'girlfriends' of the doors that were opened ended up in prison for 6 months and men were deported! - They always treat the Women worse! - We refused to open the door as we had three girlfriends in the flat! It was all over the UK press if you have memories that long!

Only difference all these years on, is the hair is forced into being straight by the gel. But when I get up in the morning it's still like this photo until I have my shower! Oh with a nice hint of gray of course!

Regards

Chris

A friend of mine calls my hair Arctic Blonde. Anyway my hair colour is 'in' at the moment.
I have really fine hair but a lot of it, double crown and everything. I visit the hairdresser every 6 weeks or so to have it tamed or I start to resemble a shetland pony.

No2 all over performed when necessary by Mrs VC. It's either that or a comb over. I think I made the right decision.

unguarded on the Wahl hair clipper followed by unguarded on the sterlings. once every few weeks . stopsmy head from looking silly with the patchy baldbits.

DIY as it saves time and money. 5yr old son gets a grade 4 once a month. except for his sideburn bits which wants to keep as he "looks like wiggo" with them.
