Bacxk from hoilday ,and went to have my eyes tested .Well i noticed that i needed a haircut .So off i went .Well i don't take a good photo at the best of times .

But over the years the parting that once was a narrow path ,has turned into a 10 lane motorway .with what looks like a brillo pad sticking up in the middle .

So we had a conversation about what best cut would be for me .It's turned out to be a number 4 blade .

It was the only thing left it will take some getting used to .

Anyone want to buy some Cossack hair spray .

It never ceases to amaze me what wimmins will shell out for a shearing. We have all those poncey shops round where I work, with price lists in the window - from x for a trainee thru' y for a junior stylist and so on up thru' about five or six distinct levels, till you get to 'Creative Director'. FFS!

It amazes me too. My local hairdresser does a trim for £8 and that's what I have. Clippers would, I fear, be too radical, or I'd go for that option, I hate having a haircut, but growing it long is too much faff.

Mine cost me £15 from Argos, that would be just over two haircuts to cover the cost. It's quite easy to cut your own using clippers without too much bother. Just make sure you get someone to check you've not missed a clump (there's nothing more embarrassing than a number 2 all over apart from the 3cm clump in the middle of the back of your head), although as the years go by this is becoming less of a problem for me (due to lack of hair not practice cutting it).

My barber gives me a discount, because I have so little to cut. But then he charges a search fee.

I got a trimmer about 10 years ago, my daughter now does my hair.
