I have also seen the pictures too, which show a number or very bad design ideas.

I like the look of them personally. But, with zero design knowledge, doesn't the gap between the triangles leave the top of the seatpost a bit exposed?

Yeah, I take your point on that. It's similar to how TT frames are put together isn't it?
My TT bike is that design but the seat post is much wider.
It does look like the seatpost on the 13's is slightly re-Inforced at the top. Possibly a flaw though, we'll,have to see.
I think they're not too shabby myself, quite like them.

Maybe the people who fit forks back to front had been trained to assemble these.

Decathlon are just as bad. I was in the Belfast one on friday, a row of at least 10 new MTB's were all built wrongly. As I pointed out to the department guy

Could this be a pointer to the end of the deal with Boardman maybe? if it's their "own" brand I'd imagine it will be pushed more which will mean cracking discounts!
