Hi all,

Picked this up last weekend and have been trying to remove a few bits of rust etc. Not too much information online so would appreciate any thoughts.

Huret gear levers suggest 1981, I imagine they might be original? Handlebars (SR) maybe later. Reasonably light but nothing amazing, seems to ride ok:-) Sturmey Archer brakes and lovely pedals, which are cleaning up well.

The derailleurs seem to have been made by someone I've never heard of, so cheap and cheerful I guess!

Nice find. As you say made for the budget end of the market, the Olympic branding with the rings is an attempt to push it up market a bit with it's underlying reference to Claud Butler.
The derailleurs are interesting, I've never seen that brand before, can't even find them on the Disaerli Gears site. As for date early eighties seems about right.

Tximista are Spanish iirc, sub brand of Triplex.
