Halfords Work stand any good?

They are pretty good, the clamp can struggle if trying to hold a bike at an awkward angle against the bikes want to twist. Pretty stable for working but a tenancy to wobble a bit if you need to be turning the pedals or wheels quickly.

That said I'm happy with my one from eBay which is very similar.

£25? Damn, I paid full price. For £25 that is cheap as chips and it works fine. It's no good for holding a bike in a position where all the weight as on one end because the clamp will slip, but you can prop the bike with a workbench or a chair or something.

I use the Oypla one from Amazon. Pretty much the same price and from what it sounds like holds the bike a bit better than the Halfords one.
