Here's our lovely mountain weather with winds up to 90mph this weekend:

Well, the incompetence of our wonderful weather forecasters strikes again.

Checked yesterday and the forecast for today gave a 4 hour window this morning from 7am where it would be dry and (unbelievably) there might even be a bit of sunshine between the clouds...
So, set the alarm for 6.30am (waking Mrs ND in the process) and got up to find it's persistently pouring down. On checking the forecast now, it's changed completely overnight and we've got heavy rain for at least another hour, possibly two.:rain:

Sod it, I'm still going out now I've got up, but it's the last time I trust Carol Kirkwood.;)

I was looking to ride today but the wind and rain is so bad, weather is looking good for tomorrow. :okay:

It is absolutely teeming down still. Feel sorry for anyone in the North West if this weather extends up there.
All but one weather app is saying this is set in until lunchtime, when there will be a couple of hours until 40+ mph winds arrive (must be the sprouts) so plans altered.

Movie now and then out for a ride at 12ish. :okay:

It's actually really freaky. There are nasturtiums and hollyhocks in bloom in the garden, it's been above 10 degrees every day in December.

its very odd indeed Glenn.we know why as the gulf stream is high but the birds and plants think its spring..
