If you did not stop at so many cafés, you would be home by now! ^_^
There was a distinct lack of cake on last summers tour so @hopless500 made me try all the different types of beer.

It was only polite.

Recent cycling out in the sunshine has made me miss touring, it's time i went back to India soon, i miss my chai.

And it's nearly a week since I went on a fairground ride. Galloping horses and ostriches, since you ask

Hah - I don't like fairground rides so I refused to go on any of the scary rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with my stepdaughter about 20 years ago.

She was really disappointed so I finally gave way and agreed to go on the 'Steeplechase'. I mean, how scary could wooden horses be ...?

The answer is bloody terrifying ... The horses were really rickety and there were just small straps holding the riders on. You are much more exposed than you would be on a normal rollercoaster ride!

I played amateur football at a high level then dropped into the Bradford Sunday Alliance at 40! My nephew would have been about 11 or 12 and I was determined to play in the same team as him, my son would been about 7. I did play in the same team as my nephew, he gave up football in his late teens and I kept going.......... to play in the same team as my son which I achieved last season.

Nothing gives more to the illusion of youth than a good figure.:okay:

I'm planning on living forever. So far, so good.

Actually, with me, It's still running and now in my declining years, I've found a level that fits with me; Parkruns! I think even now (I'm the same age as Prince as discovered today) there's still something in it for me as I actually won one outright last Saturday!

Chuffed to bits I was as it's been many years now since no one finished in front of me in a sporting event.

Cycling and working 4 days a week to keep the mind active and mixing with teenagers best part of the day. Astronomy to keep learning and jigsaw puzzles for relaxation.
