That's my home one.

I've not run for nearly two months though because of a knee injury so I'm volunteering at the moment, mostly on barcode scanning so I don't have to walk too far, and thanks to doing that I've met two old mates as I scanned them in.

Here's another how old is too old type question.

In our local Tesco one of the managers has a thick gingery beard, he's probably late thirties. Now I've told Mrs Stephec that I'm going to grow one, knowing full well that she doesn't like beards.

I've never gone to the start because I walk into the woods from Beesley Green and watch the runners go through as they get to the half way point crossing over the bridge (where we used to play Pooh sticks when the kids were young). Miss K did it when she was home for Easter and my father in law usually does it. I chat to the Marshall sometimes whilst waiting for the runners to come through.

No, after coming out under the motorway, they cross the stream and run along the top path and then down and back over another bridge, which is the one I mean, and then back through the woods to where they turn right before the motorway. There's always 2 marshals at the bit you mean, because of the different directions.

And in keeping with this thread, there seems to be as many older as younger runners.

Sportive nobbers do as well. No big deal, apart for them.

Enjoyable to ride to a pub overlooking the route and laugh at them over a beer, though. Maybe even shout out "you've missed the beer stop!"

Tempting to ride along behind them, videoing and see if we can get some of the litterbug RLJing MGIFers banned, too.
