What's your preferred method of dealing with them?

No prizes for suggesting not getting into such a state in the first place.

Cup of tea, and a big breakfast normally does it for me.

In an emergency - vomiting.

The worst hangover I had was when I shared two litre bottles of vodka with two other friends, along with cider, malibu and other bits and bobs. I stumbled to the toilet in the morning thinking I was going to be sick but I wasn't (I've never been sick from alcohol :s) and fell asleep in the bathroom.... ;p

12- 24 hours recovery time, sometimes longer which doesn't make it a worthwhile hobby for me anymore!

A long ride (50 miles) is my preferred way of dealing with a hangover - it leaves me feeling wrecked with tiredness but at least not ill. If you can't face that then you've just got to ride it out on the sofa!

Depending on how bad it is:

a) Bacon sandwich, Ibuprofen and electrolyte drink, followed by fresh air.
b) Stay in bed sipping electrolyte drink/Berocca/Alka Seltzer until I can cope with the prospect of solid food.

Lots of water just before going to bed and, lots of water and paracetamol just after waking up. That or not going to sleep and just steadily drinking water for the rest of the night and going to sleep about mid/late-morning.

If it's really bad throwing up makes me feel better for an hour.

Full breakfast, with either a bloody mary or a harvey wallbanger, or even another beer.

Having a massive poo or (if it's really bad) being sick.

Trust me, the zinc will do the job!

2 ibuprofen before bed with a pint or 2 of water. Orange juice and a stodgy breakfast followed by diet coke (flatter the better!) +/- analgesic of choice (quite like lemsip max - more caffeine!). Some sort of exercise once breakfast has gone down - Sunday London rides if I can get up in time, or just my commute to work!
