Hi everyone and thanks for your good wishes it means alot to me

I am having a wonderful day so far. I got up at 6am so excited about my new bike, I waited till 9am for the p1ssing rain to stop, it did not, so I just went out anyway and did my 22 miles. I knocked 15 minutes from the time, I could have knocked off another 15 had it not been for this dreadful weather, the headwind was awful coming back, in fact, so much so I shouted out "feck off headwind" but the only thing that heard me was a flock of birds in the bush I was cycling past and they all flew away

So my new steed is well and truly christened now

I came in the back door, stipped down to my bra and pants and everything ( inlcuding my trainers ) went in the washing machine

Got lots of friends coming round this afternoon which is nice, but no wine for me, as I have a spinning class booked first thing tomorrow morning and would rather do that than have some wine
