Swallow your pride and get a sit up and beg, or a recumbent, if your back is still giving you gyp. You'd soon forget the embarassment of your 'ride' once we got into a few beers!!!!

Thanks For the wishes everyone!!!

Am doing ok, back was seemingly on the mend with 30 - 40 mile ride by easter a feasable goal according to physio, unfortunately last 2 weeks something has happened and its seemingly worsening by the day so need to go back for another MRI. Have had pins and needles for 6 days now and am on all sorts of meds to easy the pain, numb the nerves and reduce swelling but still walk like I have just lost control of my bowels!

Amazing for 33!! Will be back on a bike one day by hook or crook though, decided not to sell the Focus MTB and keep for rehab rides once I am able, it just may get a bit dusty as will take longer than I planned!

So what have I missed? don't think I have been on much since started my new job in September? must have been some festive flounces?

Are you sure you've got your age right?

I thought it was mostly in commuting they lose control of their bowels.
