To alleviate the slightly macabre gloom here's a crap joke:
A young man walks into the dining room of a hotel looking exhausted and asks if he could have a lettuce sandwich for his girlfriend. "Is she a vegetarian?" asks the waiter. "No," replies the man, "I just want to know if she eats like a rabbit as well!"
