Well my "kids" are in their 50s so won't be waking me up (I hope)
Daughter and SiL are calling later.
Son lives too far away ut sent me a nice present.

Daughter will be coming over this morning. We'll probably have some breakfast & go out for a walk if it's not precipitating it down! ☔


I did miss quite a few Father's Days when I was on the London ~ Brighton ride though the kids did drive to Brighton to meet up a few times..

Saw my two girls yesterday...
Not seen boys since Tuesday which was my birthday.

Ex wife has recruited an older chap to be a surrogate dad to them - taking them to Bradford city, golfing range, despite same chap destroying my eldest son life.....

Only daughter at home. She's cooking my tea (basically putting some pasta in a pan of hot water and adding pre-bought sauce).

My daughter is home from university (youngest is off on a fishing trip) we are off to Blenheim Palace this evening to see Crowded House and Sheryl Crow.

However lost my Father last September so this is the first Father’s Day without him, so a lot of reflection today, he was a lovely man and very much missed

It's been many years since I last gave a father's day present, but I keep receiving them. Two Amazon packages yesterday.

Meh. Eldest daughter is hundreds of miles away and the other one is at her boyfriends. I got a card from the eldest and the youngest is taking me out for a pub lunch later in the week when it's less busy. As for me, I almost never hear from my dad so I'm wondering whether to bother phoning or not. Mood not helped by the neighbours causing my depression to go nuclear lately.
