family friendly pubs to open from 07:30am to cater for time-deprived busy moms in 4xD boxes. Coming to a Weatherspoons near you from April 28 apparently. If its good enough to let the Yanks start their day with a good wholesome breakfast, then its good enough for the likes of us seems to be the business plan.

I'm not even being sarcastic. I enjoyed my pint and breakfast at Stansted airport spoons at 4,30 in the morning ...and have had the odd pint & full eng' breakfast since

Reminds me of the olden days, when I used to work the midnight - 8 am shift. We'd stop for a beer after work...8:00 in the morning. Most people who saw us headed in there, probably thought, "Look at those alcoholics! Going into the pub at this time of the morning!" lol

I stay in a pub / B&B in Northern Ireland for the North West 200 motorbike race, which is held on a Saturday in May.

The Sunday morning after the race, we usually have an early start to get the ferry and take the long drag back down the M6. Most years, when we get down for breakfast at 6:30, there's nearly always a couple who are still there from the night before. They don't seem to have too much of a problem.
