Hi all - wishing you all a safe and healthy 2010. I started commuting in March and have done 1502 miles in 2009 - my resolution for 2010 is to beat that

Strange you should say that. I was driving alone for a few hours today ( OK, OK, I was driving ) and thought about a target. 1500 to 2000 seems possible for me. Not a heroic display, but what the hell. I shall reset the computer in a few hours, and see what happens.

Best wishes to all for a very happy and safe New Year.

Happy New Year all. My resolution is to cut back on the booze this year (my God my head hurts).

Mileage stats are below.

I only drank half a litre of gin but that's it now.Giving away the litre of Vodka I bought,to a friend then there is no booze in the house apart from a bottle of 1963 Port.Happy New Year.xx

Slept long, with the telly on till I switched it off at 8am and also had some bad dreams.

Happy New Year to all. I only managed around 2200 miles in 2009, so will just aim to get somewhere nearer my more usual 3000 miles this year. Both my gear cables have snapped in the cold weather- I aim to replace them tomorrow so my - no more swearing- new years resolution will be well and truly broken in the process.

There's a small gym at work which I have not yet ventured into, but I might have a go- In February that is, once it's nice and quiet again after the post Christmas rush!

I completed my 2009 New Year's Resolution -- I cycled to work (almost) every day in 2009. (Three or four times after work I went straight to a station, to go somewhere for the weekend, so I couldn't cycle in those days as I'd have nowhere to leave the bike.)
