And a happy one to you too, no idea what it is, I'm assuming less sweet things and new clothes than Eid and not so many fireworks as Diwali. I've got no less reason to celebrate these than Easter, and I know (more or less) what that one's for.

You are correct. Though plenty of wine gets drunk. Kosher wine - that means sweet, syrupy stuff :biggrin:. Us kids used to keep up with the grown-ups, on grape juice. And the matzos, the sprigs of parsley, the horseradish, etc. But a slap-up meal to follow all this. And the tummy-ache :biggrin:. And struggling to keep awake to the end (some song about a wretched goat).

*sigh* All memories of childhood, long since gone by. But I reckon I know more about it than the OP...:tongue:
