Hargreaves Cycles

I recently noticed the local Swindon Lexus showroom has closed and it it slowly being turned into a "Hargreaves Cycles" LBS, opening tomorrow.
Anyone any idea if Hargreaves are any good?

Hargreaves or Hargroves ? Hargroves are around Southampton / Winchester / fareham. Hargreaves seem to be Yorkshire based.

I've no idea BRSU but car show room to bike shop can't be a bad thing

I assume this is the shop you mean. It looks like an excellent shop. When I looked on google maps (here) it seems the same place but I don't know Swindon.

Yes, for some reason I wrote Hargreaves even though I looked at their website with Hargroves in big letters at the top of it.

Not sure Swindon is a great place for a bike shop like Hargroves, most of the bikes I see are from supermarkets.

Converting the natives is probably a "mission impossible", why spend £500 on bike when you can spend £80 on a BSO then use the rest for booze, fags, takeaways and loose women.

They have a good racing team that always seem to well.
