Harry Potter studio tour

Went there on Saturday. Absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed it. The kids are still raving about it.

Found out loads of stuff, for example, I didn't realise that whenever Hagrid needed to appear giant he was played by Martin Bayfield (ex England Rugby player) with an animatronic head to resemble Robbie Coltrane.

The Great Hall at Hogwarts is amazing and the huge model of Hogwarts is a real "wow" moment.

I thoroughly recommend it as a superb day out. Anyone else been?

how much was it? when they first opened it they wanted something like £245 per person!

we took my daughter not long after first opening , yes its quite expensive avoid gift shop .

but fantastic place well worth going to

We got a ticket for a family of four, it was about £80 (in total, not each). The gift shop is quite expensive but then they always are at these sort of places.

Best tour I've ever been on was Cadbury World... the day a conveyor belt malfunctioned.... a chocolate mountain!!

Yes went there in May, excellent day out, my two have grown up with the Harry Potter series so it was well worth the money. Gift shop is extortionate though.
