Being something of a 'Made on Merseyside' vintage bike nut, I've just fell for this nice little thing on Ebay. Well....., she bid for me coz I wouldn't have gone that high. Pics aren't the greatest, but looks like a nice bike.

It looks as if the top tube slopes slightly down towards the head tube. Is that so, or is it a trick of the camera?

I noticed that too. I think it must be the way it's leaning at an angle that makes it look like the top tube doesn't line up with the base of the wall.
Very neat looking bike though.

Well...... I've been riding this little beaut since I picked it up in Bristol about three weeks ago. Its got Shimano flight deck fitted, so no problems with the DT shifters on the A5 to Gaily Island on an early Saturday morning. Its been professionally resprayed some years ago and de-decalled "to stop it getting stolen", and in recent years has been a daily rider. I haven't had the inkling to strip it down and refurb just yet, as its such a good ride and this might be a keeper.........unless a Walvale comes my way of course....
