Snugpak are a reputable brand. It's definitely a summer-weight bag, so a lot depends on what you want to use it for. At £49.99 it doesn't seem particularly good value - you could get a comparable bag for half the price from Decathlon for example

It's fine for a camping trip in southern Europe in the summer or teenage sleepovers. Not much use for awt else though

£15 quid cheaper here clicky, its a fine bag for June to August fine weather camping but the Snugpak Softie 3 Merlin clicky is a more versatile bag for UK, Continental 3 Season camping.

At £49.99 it can hardly be described as cheap and Snugpak bags are used by a lot of servicemen to replace their issue bags so I woud disregard the cheap tat label also.

I've used that very model for summer touring. Do what User76 says and take as well a pair of woolly winter socks and some sort of insulating (but thin) shirt e.g. a Norwegian army shirt and you will be covered for if the temp drops at night. It's also a good idea to have a woolly hat available for use with any sleeping bag as your bonce can get cold in a tent. If you do all that you will save on bulk and still be warm.

We've got two and have used them for summer tours in southern France and Spain for which they were perfect. You need something warmer for northern europe or spring / autumn though.
