Wrapped up for our lunchtime walk, and glad I did. The reservoir had white horses and the wind a very brisk northeasterly. As we were getting back to the car you could see the weather drawing across the lower Calder Valley like a curtain. Just made it to the car when the snow hit. By the time we got home it had moved to the Colne Valley, but moving North East to South West, and a few good claps of thunder to spice it up. It's been snowing on and off ever since.
