Don't worry, getting lost is fun, finding your way back is even funnier and getting pemanenetly lost is impossible. But some people:whistle:

That being said,i map a new route before getting lost on it,so i'm more clever you see:whistle:

My TomTom decided the quickest way from Sheffield to Lowestoft was via Cambridge
Got to find out how to switch off 'major roads only' on the blighter.

It's great having a girlfriend that works from maps as part of her job!

used the sat nav for 1st time today to get me to Guildford and back , apart from m1 being closed both ways between j13 - j11 to which i knew alternative ways all ok and well impressed

Mine gets used for ETAs and helping with tricky urban bits at the end of routes more than anything. I use a road map far more often as they are quicker and give a better overview but the Sat Nav is useful.

I have one in the car,but i always check google maps before i leave. Car satnavs have a habit of taking you from A to B via C ????
