Hats off to Chain Reaction!

To cut a long story short, I got a BB from Chain Reaction cycles which hasn't been playing nice. I sent them a mild email asking if they had any ideas, and they've got straight back to me apologising for the duff BB and saying they'll send me a replacement straightaway - no hassle, no quibble. Dead impressed, me!

That is good news, you do wonder if the big companies still have the customer service, seems to me from my experience the smaller local companies can be more of the pain.

Can't complain about CRT either, quite the reverse. Top products at unbeatable prices, and on a couple of occassions when I bought the wrong thing, posted back using prepaid postage and full refund, no quibbles or anything.

Another company I have had good dealings with is Crank Brothers - broke a spoke on Cobalt wheel - contacted CB in USA asking where I can buy replacements - no probs said the geezer, let me have your address and I post you some - within a week got 5 spokes F.O.C.!!!
