In the history of adventurous and capable Blue Peter presenters, Helen Skelton definetly deserves a place in the top tier. The Amazon canoe journey was pretty gutsy as was her latest escapade, which despite the safety rope, is not to be underestimated. So hats off to Helen.

I've heard her interviews on the radio on Saturday mornings leading up to this and she really has had to put a massive amount of work in to get to the stage that she could do that.
