Yet again, I'm sure that is a different word to mine, because I don't believe there is a word which would match your 5th attempt, with my final word. And I'd be pretty certain there aren't four words with those 2nd, 4th and 5th letters.

plenty of cheat websites that will tell you todays word if you are bothered by it and want to check. just google

Yep. Just checked, and the word I had is neither the same as that, nor the same as yesterday's. The one given looks very likley to be the same as yours (and Deptformarmoset), and the blogger giving it also commented that there are an awful lot of words that match once you know letters 2,4,5.

Why am I getting different words to everybody else? I'm using the regular site - https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html and it is saying it is the same number (335 today).

there was a update done in NYT ownership times, maybe around the FETUS issue, so if you've never closed your browser and logged back in etc, that wont have happened. try that and see what happens. you will lose any streak stats etc i think if that bothers you.
