I was a bit surprised yesterday (or was it the day before) that the word was RUDER. Rude words are bad enough, but ruder ones are really shocking.

Actually what surprised me was that it was a comparative. Normally we only just get words in their ordinary, dictionary form as the answer - no plurals or comparatives or verb forms or stuff like that.
